Our Firm
Our story begins with Chuck Sabadie’s return to his home town of New Orleans in 1992 after spending several years in California working in the financial services industry. Chuck returned to start a financial service practice targeting educators in the Greater New Orleans region. Chuck built a successful practice by educating teachers about their pension/retirement and showing their families how to create a more stable financial future for themselves.
Chuck met Jay Badeaux as members of St Luke’s Men’s Club, and spent a year working together as President and Vice President of the club. Jay had started his career in the financial services industry several years before, and they quickly realized they worked very well together. In 2004, they began teaming up full time. Chuck focused on finding new opportunities for their industry around the country, and Jay assumed the role of running the practice in New Orleans and St Tammany Parish. In 2005, they rented office space in Slidell and the Sabadie Group was officially created.
As their business continued to grow, they made the move in 2012 to their present location in Olde Towne Slidell. They expanded their financial planning services to include income annuities and elder care planning, and formed the subsidiary ElderCareLA, LLC to highlight those specific planning needs. In 2015, Chuck left the securities side of the business and decided to focus solely on identifying opportunities in income annuities, life insurance, long term care planning, etc through ElderCareLA. Jay continued to focus on servicing the securities related business through Lincoln Investment, and The Sabadie & Badeaux Financial Group was officially formed.
As they continued to grow, they welcomed Amber Andre to the team in 2016. She assists Jay with running the office while steadily growing her securities & financial planning practice.
Today, the Sabadie & Badeaux Financial Group continues to work tirelessly to service their existing clients and identify opportunities to help new clients. Their ultimate goal is to improve the financial situation of the people they encounter and help them retire well.
